About Munoz Enterprises, Inc.
The Munoz brothers purchased an Industrial Tank Cleaning company named Astro Terminal Services in late 1983. Before the purchase of Munoz Enterprises, Art Munoz worked for Daniel M&J Valve. He began at Daniel M&J in 1966 as a Machinist helper, to a machinist, a leadman, a supervisor, to finally a Operations manager of numerical control managing 83 employees in 3 shifts.
In 1968, Art was drafted to the United States Army. Art was placed in the 1st Infantry division and grew from a Private First Class to a Staff Sargent, Art is decorated soldier with a Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Valor device, and an Arial Assault medal. Art completed his tenure with the Army in 1970 and returned to work at Daniel M&J Valve where he gave 22 total years of service. Fil Munoz began his working career at ADT Security were he was a supervisor for a team of installers for 12 years. Fil then worked for Arco-Lawndale as a Safety/Security Manager for 5 years before beginning his career with MEI. In 1984, the Munoz brothers changed the name of the company purchased from Astro Terminal Services to Munoz Enterprises, Inc.
